Fund Raising
Primary fund raiser was each year involved in the construction and raffle of a cubby house in the months leading up to Christmas. During the past four years the club has raised nearly $100,000 in support of community projects, education, health and junior sport. No cubby house raffle was held during 2005 and 2006.
Environment
The club is also involved in environmental work -our main project being the restoration of the Lower Lesmurdie Falls area.
Community Support
In early 2002 Lions Jack Eagles and Gary Cullenane began a program of acquiring and restoring discarded computers to give to seniors and deserving children in the community. This initial work led to an invitation from the local Community Learning Centre to provide, install and maintain 15 computers for training at that centre. Lions Gary and Jack to conduct the training. The first 8 week course comprising basic hardware, operating systems, anti-virus, word processing, spreadsheets, email and the internet commenced on 13 February 2002. A second computer training facility for seniors, established at the Jack Healy Centre (JHC) in Kalamunda late in 2002, is now conducting training courses. A third computer training facility for seniors was established at the Woodlupine Community Centre in Forrestfield and commenced training courses in mid July 2003.
The first Forrestfield High Wycombe Lions Club Mentor Camp was held at the Alfred Hines Seaside Camp at Rockingham from Saturday 17th to Friday 23rd of April. The main aims of the Camp were to establish mentors for families with disabled children and to provide the opportunity for activities from which disabled people would usually be excluded. Mentor visitors to the camp were inspirational for everyone attending the camp motivation. These aims were more than met as some special relationships and friendships developed as a result of this project.
A grant from Carers WA assisted with the cost of the camp and volunteers from the club assisted by setting up the accommodation, providing towels and linen, and catering for all the meals during the camp.
Some of the activities on the camp were:
 A Magic Show
 Bocce
 A disco
 Fishing
 Water Skiing
 Bowling
The project conducted further camps during 2006 and 2008.
2005 saw the launch of our anti-graffiti project coordinated by Lion Gary Cullenane with financial assistance from Lion Andy Ronalds (Safer WA), The Bendigo Forrestfield Community Bank and The Shire of Kalamunda. The project aims to provide the local community with a free anti graffiti service utilising the cubby house trailer specially adapted for this purpose.
Local businesses such as Forrestfield Mitre 10 hardware are providing support by donating paint and equipment.
